North Country Region Volleyball recently named Vikings Volleyball coach Mike Selbitschka as one of the winners of the Robert L. Lindsay Meritorious Service Award. The award is given for contributing outstanding participation, motivation, and other services in the promotion of volleyball.
Coach Mike made excellent strides with his Vikings Volleyball team this season, according to a press release from NCR. The team won the silver division at the NCR President’s Day Festival. For the season, his team had over 100 set wins and only 15 set loses. He has dedicated his time to each and every player to make them the best player that they can be. He strives to push the team to do more and be more. He puts a strong emphasis on teamwork and what teamwork means. Vikings Volleyball is very lucky to have Coach Mike as a part of their club.
This is designed for GIRLS ONLY. It will benefit athletes core strength, vertical, and general conditioning. It will prepare high school girls for the upcoming fall season and encourage teamwork. Begins....June 9th.
The high school gym will be open from 7-9 p.m. each Monday. This will be available to all incoming 7th grade through high schoolers. Players will be able to work on basic skills - passing, serving, setting, hitting, digging, and blocking techniques. Depending who attends will determine what games are played. Girls will be split onto two courts depending on age and ability. FREE to all girls.
