VIKINGS VOLLEYBALL SUMMER CAMP DATES ANNOUNCED

Hi Families and Athletes:

Just wanted to inform you that Vikings Volleyball Summer Camp will be July  7th - July 10th.

This is a four day camp put together by High School Head Coach, Mike Selbitschka and the High School Program. You can sign up online with Community Ed - https://ssl.dwebsite.com/secure2/ce_northbranch/php/public.php

Specific times for each age group will be released with the summer Community Ed brochure and are on the attached flyer.

Athletes that want to grow at Volleyball need to continue to touch a ball and grow their skills during the summer months and this is a great inexpensive way to get some touches.

The camp welcomes all athletes. Those with many years of experience and those who have never played. You need not be a JO or School player to have some fun at this camp.

We encourage you to reach out to other families and friends. Spread the word if they have athletes that are interested.

There several age groups for this camp so if you have family or friends with young ones (1st Grade and Up) that would like to try it please encourage them to sign up and give it a try.

We have posted the Flyer from North Branch Community Ed. here, so you have all the details.

Have a great Summer,

Jon Siseman
Director, Vikings Volleyball

Vikings Volleyball

Mission Statement:
Vikings Volleyball is dedicated for developing student-athletes in the elements of competition, dedication, sportsmanship and teamwork.

Philosophy:
The philosophy of the Vikings Volleyball Program is to allow each participant of the program an opportunity to improve basic volleyball skills (pass, set, hit and serve). We are also responsible for developing student-athletes in the elements of competition, dedication, sportsmanship and teamwork.

  • Competition- A successful team is defined by the improvements a team makes day to day, week to week and game to game. We hope to teach our athletes to be humble winners and gracious losers.
  • Dedication- Each athlete will be expected to attend each practice and competition. They will also be expected to perform in the classroom and also follow the NBHS rules.
  • Sportsmanship- Is exemplified in the individual who recognizes the talents of others, both teammates and opponents, and applauds the efforts of both.
  • Teamwork- Requires each person to understand that they are a part of the whole group and each member must work together to accomplish a goal. It also involves recognizing our skills, our limitations, and contributing as best we can.
